fair trade. That's unreasonable. They could acquire Nuge and Eberle without EK being involved. But this package is so far from even remotely close. Edm wouldn't want picks and super young players. That would just be stupid and a little set back sorta speak. Hoffman or stone would have to be in the package along with Cici and maybe something else to even out. Not super young non established players.

Edmonton's team chemistry is fine as it is and there is no need for Edmonton to make a radical change. Edm will keep RNH and Ebs

Ebs values isn't really high because of his salary and laziness. If they retain 2 million off him then they could get a decent top4 D. If not I can't see him getting more then a second rounder and maybe B prospect. i'd take him in mtl for Julsen and a second rounder if Edmonton retains 2 million. BUT even that is overpaying for him.

Blue Kool-Aid fever strikes again. Every year around this time every Edmonton Oiler becomes the greatest thing since the discovery of sex. Hell, if Edmonton throws a bag of pucks and a $25 Tim Horton's gift card in that deal, they should be able to get the whole Ottawa Senator franchise. FaIris trade4all nuge is a 50 guy tops when he's healthy but is very injury plagued and eberle hasn't shown that much when he's not with mcdavid so to think that even the 2 of them combined could get Karlsson you'd have to be on some hell of a drug. Karlsson plays defence on a team with no other legit super star calibre guys and has better stats every year than both those guys combined. Ottawa say no and feel your head.
