ARi : Sean Monahan,

And

Calgary: Dvorak

Which team adds on to this trade. Let me know.

Shimmer2

1.) 08 Aug 2021 00:05:44
Arizona adds just a bit.

2.) 08 Aug 2021 02:36:39
Not sure why Flames would want to trade Monahan.

3.) 08 Aug 2021 04:03:30
@sosa To shake up the core. They've been shopping him this offseason. Can't see them trading him cheaply though.

Leafs: Recieve Johnny Hockey Sam Bennett
Flames: Recieve William Nylander, Nick Robertson, Alex Kerfoot,

Toronto gets a little extra scoring punch for two years I've Johnny Gaudreau. I got a little tougher with Sam Bennett who's great playoff player and Toronto gets a little bit of Relief with the offset contract.

Calgary gets the right winger that they've always needed, Nick Robertson in the future play maker and Alex Kerfoot an extra centre that helps offset contract

Am I close or just one team get a little bit more

Shimmer2

1.) 27 Mar 2021 08:52:04
Nylander bothers me a lot. he’s way lazier than Gaudreau and Gaudreau has more offensive upside. But the value isn’t bad, I’d say take out Robertson and add a 1st and it’s a deal

Nylander, Kerfoot and 1st for Gaudreau and Bennett

That is if Gaudreau signs long term with Toronto.

2.) 27 Mar 2021 14:55:36
We don't want Nylander!

3.) 27 Mar 2021 14:59:03
We don't want Kerfoot either.

The only players Toronto has that Calgary would be interested in trading Gaudreau for (in fact we'd add) are players Toronto wouldn't trade.

And Benny, make it Mykayev and maybe.

4.) 27 Mar 2021 18:59:51
NotACasual you realize Robertson>>>>>>>>>the leafs 1st and probably is worth more then Nylander too?

5.) 27 Mar 2021 19:02:41
Yeah sure a bottom feeder team on par with Toronto’s AHL team is only interested in 3 players on the 1st place team in Canada.

6.) 27 Mar 2021 21:20:55
@nylander that’s why I said take out Robertson. The Nylander and 1st is more than enough for Gaudreau. Robertson and Nylander is an overpayment in my opinion.

7.) 28 Mar 2021 05:50:11
Ohh okay that makes much more sense.

8.) 28 Mar 2021 11:26:36
Yeah Robertson is worth more than the 1st imo, that first will likely be around 20-32nd Overall Selection. I think Nylander and 20-32nd Overall is more than enough for 1 more year of Gaudreau.

9.) 28 Mar 2021 19:26:31
@Nylander you don't get it. When Calgary moves Gaudreau it won't be for an overpaid soft, lazy player like Nylander. The whole reason for moving Gaudreau is he's too small and soft for the Flames. Nylander is bigger, he is a right shot RW and he's even from Calgary but he's still soft and lazy. Sutter wants players who work hard every shift.

10.) 07 Apr 2021 01:24:00
Sutter better not still be the coach after this year. The guy is not meant for the NHL in 2021.

07 Oct 2020 06:02:05
Calgary trades Noah Hanifin to the red wings or kings for 2 picks in the second round any interest from either team.

Shimmer2

1.) 07 Oct 2020 06:24:28
Dunn to kings for 2 second round picks.

2.) 08 Oct 2020 00:03:28
I would say no interest from flames. Why trade hanifin?

01 Oct 2020 23:37:51
Calgary trades Sean Monahan and Oliver Kylington. Columbus trades Jonas Korpisalo and Liam Cousy who adds or who say no.

Shimmer2

1.) 02 Oct 2020 06:45:06
No from Calgary imo. They have absolutely no one to replace Monahan. Why would Calgary trade their 30 goal scorer 1C? If they were to trade him, I’m sure his return would be way more than this.

2.) 02 Oct 2020 14:45:31
Monahan is worth more than this offer from Columbus.

3.) 02 Oct 2020 15:35:37
CLB says no. they found their goalie in Korpisalo.

4.) 02 Oct 2020 15:36:09
It might even be a no from Columbus. Depends what they think Foudy will be. He looked good in the playoffs and he’s 6 years younger than Monahan.

5.) 02 Oct 2020 17:12:16
We aren't giving Monahan (or Gaudreau) away. You'll have to step up a lot bigger than that if you want him. Make it Seth Jones and now you're talking.

01 Oct 2020 23:29:31
New Jersey trades : kuakkenan or Nolan Foote, Gusev or Palmieri and ty smith Calgary trade Johnny Gaudreau and Noah Hanifin. Who adds or who says no.

Shimmer2

1.) 02 Oct 2020 06:45:31
Huge no from Calgary.

2.) 02 Oct 2020 14:46:12
Calgary shouldn't do this trade.

If the Calgary flames rebuild what players stay and what players would go?

Make a list for me who gets traded and what comes back in return. I will give you my 4 trades and I want to see yours.
1- Sam Bennett for nick robertson
2- Sean Monahan to Buffalo for Sam reinhart
3- Mark Giordano to a contender.

Shimmer2

1.) 28 Mar 2021 20:41:28
How about Jacob Peltier for Alex Kerfoot? Nick Robertson isn't even 20 years old and is already better then Bennet.

2.) 29 Mar 2021 21:56:04
As much as I like Bennett, I agree with Nylander on this one.

3.) 30 Mar 2021 13:48:45
Robertson has 9pts in 10 AHL games, I wouldn’t exactly call him better than Bennett. Obviously a good player and imo he’ll most likely be way better but that’s just a slight over exaggeration. It’s too early to tell just yet, he still has yet to prove if he’s an NHL player. If we’re going to use that logic, then Bennett had 36pts in his rookie season and put up a 4 goal game against Florida. former flames prospect Emile Poirier put up 42pts in 55 games in his first full AHL season, just to only register 1pt in his only 8 NHL games. Don’t get your hopes up too quick, only time will tell.

4.) 30 Mar 2021 14:48:24
NotACasual look up youngest player to play a nhl playoff game in leafs history then get back to me. ( he’d be the youngest ever of c.v. didn't delay playoffs ) the only reason he is in AHL because he was injured his 1st game this year. The leafs are also ridiculously deep.

5.) 30 Mar 2021 23:34:00
How are the leafs ridiculously deep? This gets thrown around a lot by leaf fans there 3rd and 4th lines are no better then any other playoff team.

6.) 31 Mar 2021 16:35:16
The leafs have a very solid farm system although they lost 2 players through waivers.

7.) 31 Mar 2021 16:45:35
So it’s not because of nhl depth right? So in other words there should be a spot for Robertson right? I mean if he’s so good and so nhl ready. or maybe just maybe leafs management feel at this time it’s better for him and the leafs if he stays on the farm. has nothing to do with the ridiculous depth they have.

8.) 31 Mar 2021 16:50:53
Also what is Robertson one of maybe 2 forwards on the Marlins who are under 25 that might have a chance at playing In The nhl someday? Yeah they deep all right.

9.) 06 Apr 2021 21:25:54
If Leafs have ridiculous depth, what do you call the Canadiens depth? Because if you want to argue that Leafs has a better overall depth at the NHL and AHL level, be my guess. I mean it. Try.

07 Oct 2020 05:56:41
Would the Nashville Predators have any interest in defenceman Noah hanifan.

Shimmer2

1.) 07 Oct 2020 20:21:39
They already have Josi, Ekholm, Fabbro, Ellis. Probably not

05 Jul 2020 01:26:24
Be an arm chair gym what would you do if u were the Calgary Flames and you won the 1 st overall pick at the 2020 draft . Trade the pick kept the pick trade other players off roster I would like to see what you come up with for the battle of Alberta best rivalry.

Shimmer2

1.) 05 Jul 2020 14:38:17
I’d keep the pick, trade Guadreau for a ELC right wing who can step into the 2nd line effectively and picks/ prospects, look into Hoaltby if he’s asking for to much stay far away and Resign Bodie.

2.) 05 Jul 2020 18:29:54
Keep the pick, trade Guadreau to gain cap space and offer sheet one of sergachev or barzal. Or trade gaudreau for the rights to said players.

3.) 08 Jul 2020 05:19:28
Package Gaudreau and Backlund for a new 2C and young RW who could step into the top 6. Then use the cap space to sign Lehner or re-sign Brodie.

28 May 2020 16:49:34
Even if juniors are not eligible what team if any could get a real boost from maybe some of their all players like they way Colorado did with maker last year.

Shimmer2

1.) 04 Jun 2020 05:13:14
St Louis gets perunovich.

2.) 10 Jun 2020 02:52:00
Perunovich ain't going to make the team . Huge difference between Perunovich and Makar. LMFAO. If you think Perunovich is going to hop on the team and be the stud Makar was you got another thing coming.

28 May 2020 03:46:20
I have a question if someone would share the info. Can nhl clubs insert all players in their lineups For the playoffs and what about junior players that have sign their entry level deals, I don’t know the answer to this, and if they can what nhl club would this help the most?

Shimmer2

1.) 28 May 2020 09:03:52
Hmm that's interesting. I should know this. lol. I don't think the new signed Jrs can? . if so can Romanov play for Habs? I'm pretty sure that's a no. but maybe one of these more educated guys like Drais or Habby can fill us in.

2.) 28 May 2020 09:07:02
So I just read that Romanov can't play. I'm sure that Dman who the Leafs jus signed who won the kinda KHL Norris can't either.

3.) 28 May 2020 13:46:11
I know 2 years ago when Gusev signed with Vegas during playoffs he was eligible to play so if he is not eligible to play it is due to the virus not NHL rules.

4.) 28 May 2020 14:08:56
Vegas already had Gusevs rights though did he not? So was technically already Vegas property. I believe that makes a difference.

5.) 28 May 2020 16:22:54
Oilers can have Broberg play, although he’s playing pro in Sweden and not in juniors. But there’s a limit to the amount of players a team can hold I’m pretty sure.

6.) 28 May 2020 19:12:35
If they’re on an ELC they could play, if they haven’t signed yet they can’t play in playoffs pree sure.

7.) 29 May 2020 04:17:44
If they were not with you or signed before the trade deadline they are ineligible. I think.

8.) 29 May 2020 06:11:59
There seems to be talk that KHL signings might be treated a little different then others though.

9.) 29 May 2020 13:30:16
No any player is eligible to sign and play at any time of there rights are held by a team already. FA signings are locked at deadline I believe.

10.) 30 May 2020 01:03:00
@vbb What?

11.) 04 Jun 2020 05:20:19
He's right. Exactly what I said. As long as the team has their rights it doesn't matter when they sign because they are already team property. FA are locked to the team they are playing for after the deadline is what he means. Not sure why he threw that in at the end unannounced off topic but ok. He is right. The khl guys are signed for next season, so they can't play this season. I read something about them putting date to be determined on the contract, but that won't fly. I have a hard time believing Barabanov or Lehtonen will be playing for the Maple Leafs for example. Or Sorokin in New York.

12.) 04 Jun 2020 19:40:43
I wasn’t disagreeing with him I just couldn’t understand what he was trying to say. You explained it better but it still sounds like what I said earlier to me.

All I’m saying is a prospect is only prospect until he makes it brodie is a good 2 way defencemen and on these teams he could play on their 1 or 2 pairings easy.
