Okay this trade probably makes no sense and is useless buy whatever I'm bored.

What do u think? Change of scenery? Both players are pitiful right now. I think the value is decently close and the upside is there(hardly). Tell me what u think! As always SEND THE ATTACK DOGS!!
1.) Don't see it happening, maybe a possibility but lombardi is smarter than that.
2.) LA declines on this one, the contract swap is good, but the leadership/work ethic swap is far too bad for LA.
Semin repeatedly gets scrutinized for his lack of work ethic, and really wouldn't fit well on such a strong defensive system.
Carolina would love this trade adding a guy who has won in every level and never gives up.

Let me take a shot at improving montreals top 6
MTL: Alexei Emelin
OTT: Alex Chiasson
Montreal might end up with too many forwards and ottawa may not want emelin (I don't blame them lol)
Tell me what you think! Who adds?
1.) Ottawa is looking for more scoring up front and are willing to give up some of their dman because they have a lot. This trade really doesn't work for them.
2.) That is true. How's the value though? Far off?
3.) Chiasson is younger and has way more upside, Emelin is overrated , Montreal adds.
4.) Chiasson is more of a 3rd line winger, only on pace for 30 pts.

Decided to revise the trade between BUF and COL. Hear me out.
To BUF: Ryan O'reilly, Chris Bigras, 2nd round pick(2015)
To COL: Tyler Myers

1.) IMO I don't think that is enough for Tyler Myers. I'm not really sure what would have to be added
2.) Still not enough. Buffalo needs top end talent coming back. I like O'Reilly but he's not an elite forward.
3.) I think that's too much from colorado. bigras almost made the team this year and looks to be a solid nhl dman in the making, the 2nd rd pick has value, and than orielly is huge. for that package I think they would want more
4.) COL: Ryan O'reilly, Chris Bigras & 1st 2015
BUF: Tyler Myers & NYI or SLB 1st COL choice.

1.) Does Buffalo need another goalie?
2.) My opinion is that the Sabres should keep Myers. He will be a stud. And is one of the most important players to this team now and especially in the future. One does not notice this that much now, bc the Sabres are just bad. That will Change in 2 - 3 seasons.
3.) @benn14 that is why Murray's asking price is so high. This offer is close, but IMO Murray would want Chris Bigras instead of Calvin Pickard (a GK prospect no better than the 5 they currently have) & at least a 2nd if not a 1st. Stafford has only 1 less point than ROR, on the lowest scoring team and gets 2nd line minutes and 2nd PP minutes. ROR gets top line minutes playing on a team that has scored 24 more goals than Buffalo. I know ROR has potential and that makes the trade partially believable.
4.) ^ Buffalo has to be able to replace Myers. So long term Myers is more valuable to Buffalo than O'Reilly and Pickard. There will be plenty of chances at forward talent in the next 2 drafts for Buffalo.
5.) I agree. But I also think the Team that gets Myers would win this trade. Not immediatly but they would win it. That's why Buffalo should retain Myers.

6.) Emelin is on pace for a +11 season with 226 hits playing 21:26 mins per game, seems to be doing OK
7.) Boris if u can't understand that the level of compitition emelin faces sucks, and he is out of position at all times. Then u got to understand that he sucks
8.) Soobydoo, you don't your hockey. Habs are battling for 1st in East, & Emelin is their 3rd best d-man. he's by far their top hitter, next 2 Habs d-men with hits are PK & Markov and combined they have less than half 1/2 # of hits than Emelin. who is also 3rd highest scoring d-man on a team that went to semi-finals last season and, again, are one of the top teams in East this season.
9.) Sooby Doo you don't understand that we have 3 or 4 prospects that are ready for the NHL and Emelin is definatley a top 4 guy. And do you know how I know? Because the coach has him playing a top 4 role and he knows a lot more about hockey than you.

The jets are pretty stacked on D with buff, trouba, Myers, and Enstrom. But the departure of Kane leaves them with a whole in their top 6 and as I have seen today, they may be interested in flipping Myers.

They are saying that Carey may need surgery to repair his MCL, leaving him out at least 6 weeks. At that point there is no longer reason to risk re-aggravation. Don't be surprised it he doesn't play again this season.

Never thought I would say this, but if leafs finish around #5 overall. That is an overpayment. Mcdavid is a generational talent but that is a lot of pieces to be giving up.
Leaffan, try finding someone who will pay all that and take on a 8 million dollar contract. Kessel's price really isn't at its peak right now. I understand when you trade inside the division you must overpay. But that in mind your trade is horrible.
Pavelec couldn't grab a 2nd. 2nd round is still a good pick.
