Carolina have been rumoured to be kicking tires on Bozak. So;
Tor: Victor Rask
Car: Tyler Bozak
- Carolina gets a more capable #2 centre and a top six forward to fill there offence.
- Toronto gets a good young NHL player and clears some more cap.

Value is very close. Not sure if they would move Rask for Bozak as Rask will turn out to be as good or better then Bozak. I could see this happening though.

Ottawa still searching for one more top six guy whose affordable. Leafs pick up a bad contract and get a draft pick as there real reward.

Where does Bozak exactly fit in on the senators? Turris, Zibinajed, Lazar, Smith. Value is fair just can't see Sens adding Bozak at this point.

Buffalo is currently talking to Oduya and Franson as they are looking to upgrade there defence. Oduya not sure if he wants to play for Buffalo and word is he and Chicago really want to work something out. Franson however is still demanding to much money for teams to be willing to sign him.

Franson is a joke - I do not understand him.
He or his Agent have been asking for top dollar on every contract since his Entry Level expired. He's big but does not hit - and so SLOW. Yes he can produce on the PP but at what cost. Nashville gave up a 1st to acquire him at the deadline and on 2 occasions he could not crack their line up?
Asking for huge money and receiving it are 2 different things.

The NYR may look to trade Marc Staal due to cap issues and his poor play in the playoffs. If Carolina is serious about moving the 5th overall expect them to make a move. Other teams interested would be Detroit, Colorado, and Dallas.

NYR are adding quite a bit (to Staal for 5th), tho.
Also, tradind Staal for a high draft pick does in no way reflect the Rangers and especially Glen Sathers win-now-for-every-price-style (remember they traded 3 1sts, a 2nd and Duclair for Yandle and MSL)

Dallas Stars need a Dman to eat up top line minutes. Don't be surprised if they go for a guy like Phaneuf, Chara, or Byflugien.

Both Calgary and Edmonton are openly shopping for a top 4 Dman and both have the pieces it would take to acquire one. Both have interest in Green and Franson for free agency, but they may look into what the cost for Letang and Phaneuf may be.

Take out Spaling and the 3rd and it could wok. Don't think the Leafs would trade a player they just acquired and the Stars can't afford the extra 2.6 mil cap hit now that they signed Oduya.
