As a Pens fan i'm all for it as for Toronto i don't think they'll do this as they have Garret Sparks coming up through the Ranks and i also believe that Jeremy Bracco and Kasperi Kapanen are going to be Studs.

Matt Murray was untouchable at the deadline, no reason to think he's available in the off-season. Pens need a future starter too, after all, so they can just hold onto him and rotate him in with more frequency as time goes on. This trade makes zero sense for Pittsburgh.

If the Leafs take out Kadri and add a 2nd, I can see this deal happening as it is fair for both sides
Clarkson is at 5.75/year for 5 more years, Richards is at 5.75 for 5 more years. Interesting idea, could work for both sides

Putting aside the fact both of the Leafs trades are good from a leafs standpoint, good on you for thinking of fair trades for all teams involved. Not necessarily filling everyone's needs, but in terms of value no one gets the shaft. Anyone who says different are just mad that their favourite player was traded.
