The golden knights have a deal in place with Columbus for there 1st round pick this year and a prospect to keep Johnson, Anderson, savard and korpisalo safe
Plus the prospect isn't Dubois or Milano.

Columbus is giving their 1st and a prospect not named PLD or Milano for Vegas to not select Calvert, Karlson or Murray.
Vegas taking Clarkson could be part of the deal as well.

Cody Ceci isn't anything special. I wouldn't even call him a top 4 dman. Chabot for Landy 1 for 1 is fair imo.

This trade isn't half bad for Duchesne not Landy though. And with the contracts ottawa already picked up I'd think some retention on one of those contracts would be needed for either Duchesne or more likely tyutin.

Ottawa retains 1-2 mil on Ryan and adds a mid range prospect
Ryan hasn't fit in as a sen and could use a new surroundings and new start.
