I have 3 trades in mind for my New York Islanders to make to upgrade their offense.
The first trade that I have in mind for them to make is Anthony Beauvillier, the rights to Jake Bischoff and the rights to Petter Hansson to the Calgary Flames for Kris Versteeg.
The second trade that I have in mind for them to make is Anders Lee, Shane Prince and the rights to David Toews to the Winnipeg Jets for Blake Wheeler.
The third trade that I have in mind for them to make is Alan Quine, Stephen Gionta and Jean-Francois Berube to the Colorado Avalanche for Gabriel Landeskog.
Their lines can be put together like this after those trades are made. :

I would be happy to have Kris Versteeg and Blake Wheeler suiting up for my New York Islanders.
Anthony Beauvillier and Jean-Francois Berube would both be traded to Calgary for Kris Versteeg, while Alan Quine and Shane Prince would both be traded to Winnipeg for Blake Wheeler.

And then the Wheeler trade the Jets don't even bat an eye. If anything, the trades should be swapped. But even then, Wheeler ain't going anywhere.
