NYR: Miller, Halverson, 2018 1st rounder
Minnesota: Dumba, 2018 2nd rounder.
20 Sep 2016 14:39:03
a scenario i have been thinking of but will not happen:
NYR: Miller
Carolina: 2nd rounder 2017 (Rangers) and one of carolinas top defensive prospects (wishfully Bean but NYR have to add a bit then i believe)
Rangers then offer sheet Islanders Ryan Strome 2year 3,75AAV, Islanders will match to avoid Strome to Rangers but will then have to trade a player cause they only have $3,658,524 in cap space (according to capfriendly)
1.) 20 Sep 2016 16:27:43
Strome just signed and you ain't getting Bean plus a 2nd.
2.) 20 Sep 2016 16:58:50
I'd rather keep Miller than have Strome.
3.) 20 Sep 2016 17:11:13
yeah i just saw Strome got signed.
17 Sep 2016 02:33:47
NYR: Girardi, Skjei, Zuccarello, 1st rounder 2018
Ottawa: Karlsson, Methot.
1.) 17 Sep 2016 09:23:49
Not enough.
2.) 17 Sep 2016 10:16:19
Add another 1st and Ottawa might consider.
3.) 17 Sep 2016 12:14:04
LOL that is so bad. ANY trade for Karlsson from the Rags would start with McDounagh + Buchnevich + Zuccarelo + a couple other picks/ pieces
for Karlsson + maybe a cap dump.
4.) 17 Sep 2016 14:00:43
Very few players in the league could get a karlsson conversation started and no one on this list is one of them. Not even close.
5.) 18 Sep 2016 01:07:12
If you want Ottawa to gut it's defense, maybe the team, it would take a lot more than that.
17 Sep 2016 01:06:53
NYR: JT Miller
Dallas: Honka.
05 Sep 2016 17:54:41
NYR: Miller, Staal (1mil retained) Mcllrath, 2nd rounder 2018
Winnipeg: Trouba, Stafford
NYR: Zuccarello, Lindberg, Klein, 1st rounder 2018
Anaheim: Lindholm, Stoner
lol one can only wish for this to happen thou.
1.) 05 Sep 2016 19:08:19
The second one honestly isn't very good for the Rangers.
2.) 05 Sep 2016 21:57:03
No way from the Jets. Staal makes $5.7 mil until 2021 and he is 29 now and on the decline as he had only 15 points last year. The Jets don't want that salary cap millstone around their necks for the next 5 years. Miller is young and good but the Jets already have Liane, Ehlers, Connor, Lemieux, Perreault and Petan that can play left wing. Stafford is 30 but still had 38 points last year. So Millar>Stafford but Trouba>>>>Staal.
3.) 05 Sep 2016 23:40:55
Lol not even close on the Lindholm offer.
4.) 06 Sep 2016 08:49:56
Islandjet haha M. Staal has never been a point producer and you're saying he's on a decline cause of 15points last season? And Miller on left wing what?
But at least i know now you're the hockeyfan where points by players is all that matters for value.

according to the hockey press suggestion were following
NYR: Nash, Staal
Buffalo: Ristolainen+cap dump
huge no from buffalo as a NYR fan but if i would try to work around this proposal i would suggest as base:
NYR: Nash, Staal (30-40%retain), Fast or Lindberg, 1st rounder 2017 or 2018
Buffalo: Ristolainen, Moulson, 2nd rounder 2017.
1.) 17 Sep 2016 01:49:06
Not a chance.
2.) 17 Sep 2016 03:46:53
lol Sabres aren't trading Risto, an already established top pairing defencemen who is only going to get better and better for a 31 year old declining Nash? Marc Staal is honestly a cap dump at this, ask any Rangers Fan, they'd move him for nothing just to rid his contract, Rangers just don't have the assets for Risto. Buffalo is building the blue line around Risto. The source/ site you got this from is crap. Don't believe everything you read, it's the offseason. These guys are paid to makeup BS stories .
3.) 17 Sep 2016 14:03:41
BJ96 haha i never believe anything from the hockey press either, cause quoted their proposal.
17 Sep 2016 00:08:08
trade between Buffalo and NYR that includes either Nylander to NYR or Kovacs to Buffalo.
Both are from swedish team AIK and i would like to see them reunited and maybe form a good line chemistry in near future
so what do everyone think either team have to give up to get the other player?
1.) 17 Sep 2016 01:49:32
Mcdonugh.
2.) 17 Sep 2016 14:04:28
Bud don't be that guy.
18 Aug 2016 02:10:30
looking at the current NHL 2017 mock draft from draftsite. com
should rangers with their 1st rounder pick a guy like Jesper Boqvist? i find him a interesting talent that could fit with the team.
The NYR have good young C in zib, hayes and miller put have barely any center-prospects.
1.) 18 Aug 2016 06:54:04
Why in the world would i be concerned about next years draft, and even if i do why would i care who the Rangers draft?
Rangers will probably trade their pick for a UFA player that they are going to lose.
And it's to early to talk about any prospect outside the top 2 right now because the 2016-17 hasn't even started.
2.) 18 Aug 2016 07:05:41
Lol What you find him cute is that it?
Can you tell me What you saw in him?
3.) 18 Aug 2016 08:42:37
For once I agree with Tyson.
4.) 18 Aug 2016 08:55:32
@CanadaFinest
The guy looks like William Nylanders sister.
5.) 18 Aug 2016 13:30:32
if you don't care, then don't comment. simple!
6.) 18 Aug 2016 16:10:19
I think they should draft Joe Veleno in 2018.
7.) 18 Aug 2016 20:03:51
@linlan
you'd have to be insane for somebody to respond legitimately to this.
I doubt anybody has any knowledge on a late first rounder that doesn't even play in North America.
18 Aug 2016 01:58:41
if Vesey signs with NYR, will a player like Fast be traded to create slot and where could he be landed to what price?
1.) 18 Aug 2016 06:55:58
Not a lot.
He is a 3rd line player that is going to be a RFA this upcoming season.
I think he would get a 3rd round pick plus somekind of 4th liner or a depth defender for New York.
2.) 18 Aug 2016 08:42:51
Vessey is going to Boston or Chicago.
02 Aug 2016 23:05:10
would vermette be a good fit in NYR as replacement for losing moore?
20 Sep 2016 17:11:13
yeah i just saw Strome got signed.
06 Sep 2016 08:49:56

22 Aug 2016 22:14:28
Kreider is staying as it looks now VB Beauty, so more likely Miller in that case.
22 Aug 2016 21:52:15
idk islandjet, a retained nash+signing of trouba don't save that much.
22 Aug 2016 21:38:20
bud did i wrote Nash leaving alone? no, i wrote him as part of a package.
17 Sep 2016 14:04:28
