Buf: Kane

Van: Tanev, Eriksson, 2018 2nd

Bos- Pastrnak

Van- Tanev, 2018 2nd

madsen29

1.) 15 Aug 2017 09:50:57
That second is almost a first, so that's a neat fact to take into this.

2.) 15 Aug 2017 12:02:35
Lol. Vancouver adds.

3.) 15 Aug 2017 15:34:14
If there is going to be a deal for Pastrnak, would probably have to be something involving Joelevi. ect. something similar to the Drouin/ Sergachev trade. however, Pastrnak has been more successful than Drouin, and I beleive Sergachev is the much better prospect than Joelevi. so peices may be added. maybe Canucks add Virtanen? Then he becomes Cam Neely 2.0. lol. K No! As a Habs fan, that really sucked back in the 80's early 90's.

4.) 18 Aug 2017 18:34:14
The Jets should have some interest in a player like Tanev. History with Moose, brother with Jets, solid D.
They will be more interested if Trouba contract goes south.
Vancouver should be in a rebuild mode looking for top prospects.

So I am proposing that if Trouba and Jets part ways the following:

To Vancouver
Connor + Nogier

To Wpg
Tanev.

Col- Matt Duchene, 2018 1st

Van- Horvat, Virtanen

madsen29

1.) 18 Jul 2017 04:39:24
Just stop. Horvat isn't going anywhere.

2.) 18 Jul 2017 04:46:41
Rather have Horvat, think he will be the better of the 2. and Virtanen still has a lot of potential if he can get it figures out. Very young yet.

3.) 18 Jul 2017 05:53:28
Colorado should not trade next years first. Could be first overall
Team will be bottom five after trading Duchene.

4.) 18 Jul 2017 06:08:07
Can't see Horvat being better than Duchene but definitely a no from Vancouver.

5.) 18 Jul 2017 15:38:12
But also no way Colorado takes that as that has nothing to do with what Sakic wants as a return.

6.) 18 Jul 2017 18:52:59
McJesus. ya I know what ya mean. I jus think as a an overall player, Horvat could be the better of the 2. He isn't yet, but I don't even really know what Duchene is anymore? Is he a guy capable of racking up 70 to 80 points. or is he a 40 to 50 point guy. With a change of scenery, he probably becomes the better player again though.

7.) 18 Jul 2017 18:58:20
I wouldn't trade that 2018 1st I'd take that and run as Vancouver even without Duchene. A top 4 pick next year.

8.) 18 Jul 2017 19:46:50
I think just playing on Colorado really hurt his confidence, nobody had a good year last season it sucks.

9.) 18 Jul 2017 19:57:31
Say
Horvat => Duchene.
Then
COL 2018 1st >>>> Virtanen.
Col. should say no to this deal.

Van- Tanev

Vegas- 2018 1st

madsen29

1.) 16 May 2017 05:32:09
2nd at the most.

2.) 16 May 2017 06:27:55
Top 6 pick for Tanev? Ugh.

3.) 16 May 2017 07:14:35
Tanev is a good defenceman @lindss . He will get much better than a 2nd in a weak draft.

4.) 16 May 2017 15:22:37
My bad he said 2018 but honestly vegas will probs get a high pick again.

5.) 16 May 2017 18:20:25
Vegas won't be trading and high picks. If anything they will be accumulating them as they build a roster plus organizational depth.

6.) 16 May 2017 18:32:02
No Vegas will probably end up making the playoff ib their first year so unless they trade for a better pick I expect them to pick around 22-25.

7.) 16 May 2017 20:32:21
I thought no matter where Veagas finishes they will always be slotted 3rd overall pre lottery for the first 3 years.

8.) 16 May 2017 21:25:55
I think that VB is right. I remember the league saying that Vegas will be 3rd for lottery chances for the next few years.

9.) 17 May 2017 03:17:25
i know the league has changed rules this time to make Vegas a better team quicker than expansion teams in the past, and I know anything is possible but I would be very shocked if they are a playoff team in the first cpl seasons. It would be very impressive. Also I know they pick 6th overall this year but have the 3rd pick in each round 2-7. Not sure on their odds for 2018 or 2019.

Buf- Kane, 2018 2nd

Van- Tanev

madsen29

1.) 14 May 2017 04:03:47
Kane is cancer. It's going to take more than a second to make up the difference with Tanev.

Van- nothing but cap

NYI- Tavares

straight up rubbish out of luck!

madsen29

1.) 04 Sep 2017 06:25:19
What? No clue what's going on here.

2.) 04 Sep 2017 17:00:39
I would love it if Vancouver offered Tavares 7 years 70 million in the off season. If he wants more I'll give him what he wants. Tavares, Horvat, Petterson. That is finally some strength down the middle.

3.) 06 Sep 2017 13:49:20
Society counters with a slap to the face.

4.) 06 Sep 2017 15:48:24
Lol. That's one of the most accurate things youve posted VB. Nice.

Vancouver firing WD and going Green with the Crow in sitting on the fence! Major training staff overhaul coming as well! Thoughts on Travis vs Marc for the nucks down the road?

madsen29

1.) 13 Mar 2017 18:05:52
What?

If you mean Crawford, he is currently under contract with the Sens for this and next season.

2.) 13 Mar 2017 22:45:21
I think Willy is all but fired. It's not his fault. Most of the blame should be on Linden and the owners. I would rather have Garrard Gallant. Has NHL experience. Proven to be a good coach on a rebuilding team.

3.) 14 Mar 2017 05:32:16
Whomever VAN has coaching won't matter until the Sedins either decide to agree to be traded or retire. Until then, they'll just stay in this holding pattern of trying to be good but failing miserably.

4.) 14 Mar 2017 23:40:30
Niagara is on point.

5.) 15 Mar 2017 01:37:06
Agree they will be bad till the Sedins go. The problem is even if they agree to go, who would take them? Bad teams aren't going to take on those contracts and good teams that they could help in a lesser role don't have $15 in cap space. Canucks are screwed till the sedins retire. They can do what they did This deadline and and accumulate a cpl picks and young players with upside like goldobin and the kid they got from sens. But can't do a proper rebuild when your top two assets are all but untradable.

6.) 15 Mar 2017 02:56:03
Well, Sedins only have 1 year left after this season, not that big of a problem right now, sucks they declined so hard tho. Who knows maybe Benning works his magic and trades them at the deadline, they will probably retire in the next few years, maybe even when their contracts run out.

Van: Horvat, Subban

Col: Duchene, 2nd 2017

madsen29

1.) 26 Jan 2017 16:00:17
Not enough for Duchene and a 2nd. Not even sure if Subban is worth much more than a second

My point is that Jim is going to have to try and recover from all that crow he has eaten (Erickson, Gud, Dorsett) and recover as much as possible. Sweet we get to keep Grandlund!
Sedins to Vegas is not happening but one of the fore mentioned hopefully!
