Here is a trade I thought of to clear cap and to solve an issue for the hawks.
Chi: Sharp and 2014 3rd round pick
Mtl: Galchenyuk 14 2nd and 15 3rd
This would clear cap and give the Canadians a scorer they have been looking for. it also gives the hawks a 2nd line center after richards contract is up.
1.) No way Mon moves Galchenyuk
2.) Hahah knew this was a troll
3.) 28 Nov 2014 04:16:33
Don't see Montreal trading Galchenkyuk anytime soon especially not for an aging winger.
4.) As we all know montreal fans think subban is the second coming of christ and they are just about as high on gally. He is going to be one hell of a player so habs say no. Plus sharp is hurt at the moment, and galchenyuck is going to cost just as much if not more than sharp to resign down the road. Good idea though
5.) How about Galchenyuk for Mcdonagh?
6.) Teams that passed on McDonagh before Habs took him with 12th pick in '07 draft:
4 Los Angeles/Thomas Hickey
5 Washington/Karl Alzner
6 Edmonton /Sam Gagner
8 Boston /Zach Hamill
10 Florida /Keaton Ellerby
11 Carolina /Brandon Sutter

I heard that the Canadiens were talking to Chicago about sharp so I made this trade.
MTL: Galchenyuk, 2nd, 3rd, (in 2015)
CHI: Sharp, 2nd, (in 2016)
1.) Puts the Habs pretty far over the cap, but as a Chicago native I'd be pretty happy with that trade.

Montreal would NEVER trade chucky
3.) Galchenyuk is untouchable
4.) I wouldn't trade Galchenyuk straight up for Sharp, let alone adding picks. He is much younger and has the promise of being a #1 centre.
5.) It's clear Montreal fans think Galchenyuk is going to be a monster. Thing is, Sharp is already a monster and you have to pay big for players like that.
So I get it, you (the person sitting at the computer) would not trade Galchenyuk for Sharp, but I guarantee Chicago would be asking for him in a trade, and if not you're trading someone else with high upside.
6.) Remedial Hab fans ^
If you got Sharp he would easily be the best forward on your team for 5 more years. Galchenyuk is not an untouchable asset either. THEGR81 is right whether you like it or not.
Also your ignorance makes us all think what a bunch of uneducated clowns root for MTL. It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression of ignorance than to open it and remove all doubt.
7.) How come habs fans don't consider the fact that galchenyuk seems to be injury prone. Injuried on and off again all through out his minor league career, and injured on and off again in the nhl. Really that's the only consistent part of his hockey game so far.
8.) I hear crickets

CHI: sends Shaw, 2nd round pick for Joe Thorton. Thoughts?
1.) 02 Aug 2014 07:34:17
My thoughts are: CAP
2.) Ya, with all their cap space! Oh wait. They have no cap space!
Kane (star player already) > McDavid (has the potiential to become a star player)

horvat is not going to the oilers
I am a chicago fan and even this is a horrible trade for montreal
Bickell is worth more than a 3rd and tokarski for a 3rd is so unrealistic
