I actually meant to add maybe a 2nd from NJ. Cause I agree Neal scored 19 goals. Schneider also has one less year on his contract but makes 250K more.

Yes, Neal is overpaid but he is productive in the NHL while Schneider isn't even an AHL starting calibre goalie.
Also, we need help with depth scoring, right? Why would we trade Neal?

I just looked and the Devils don’t have a 2nd in this draft so the pick would have to be one of the Devils three 1st round picks, 20th overall (Oil add) or there 2021 2nd. I think it could make sense for Edmonton for a couple reasons. The Oil don’t have 2nd round picks for the next two years. They also lose a year of Neals cap. And they get a backup goalie that has been a starter before. If they don’t think Schneider can be a quality back up or even have 1B potential they probably wouldn’t do it.
