ANA is a rebuilding team. They won’t move their best trade chips to get leadership. They’ll add it more cheaply in asset cost than this.

ANA will want good young pieces in return for trading Zegras.

Kadri is 33 and is the wrong age for a rebuilding club. If they feel the need to add leadership they’re not trading Zegras to get experience.

I respect your take on most things. I just don’t see the fit on this transaction at all.

I look at Buffalo and Ottawa and think all the talent but not taking steps forward. Anaheim is close to that I’m thinking so I see trading those pieces to start to push over hump. That is my take.

Dude how are they going to beat out Tampa, Boston, Toronto or Florida those are 4 teams that are far better than them on paper and in reality. Then you got Detroit that is in the same position as those 2 teams. They are doing well just not really feasible to make playoffs when you’re a young team with 4 top 10 teams in your division.
