What are the chances Flyers trade for Subban or sign him to an offer? 5. 5 to 6 mil per year?

Coburn, Couturier, 2015 1st
for
Subban

Would have to dump Coburn for cap, bring up Laughton to replace Couturier.

Other opinions?

Subban can get them a better deal elsewhere. Subban will take more than 6 million is Phaneuf got more. If Macdonald wants 5.5 million than Subban should get at least 7.5million

Subban's agent isn't going to be comparing Phaneuf's contract in negotiations, he will looking at Doughty, Letang etc. and going from there.

I predict that Subban will end up in a NYI jersey next year. Snow needs to make something happen. Not a huge fan of Subban's attitude, but there is no denying that he is a great player. NYI has the cap space to do it and a desperate GM who would give up draft picks to make it happen.

NYI will not pay Subban more then Tavares, plus he does not solve their defense problems.

You can't say they won't pay Subban more than JT. When JT signed his extension he got the money he deserved. He is worth well more than his salary now, but nothinf he can do about it. Subban did win a Norris (not that I felt he deserved it) and that right there is a great negotiation point for him. Snow will offer sheet him to make that big signing to move forward to try and cover his a** for his moronic trades. Subban knows JT and is buddies with him. He would be in the spot light as they make the move to Brooklyn.

I said I didn't feel he deserved it because I felt as if Ryan Suter deserved it. Had decent points and played much better defensively than Subban did. Subban put up points, but ia no overly reaponsible in his own end. If he was more responsible in his end I would say he would be the top dman in the league and I am a Leafs fan. Prime example that they need to add another trophy for best offensive dman. I am not saying Subban isn't good, but there is room to improve.
