You Habs fans should know your team used their 2 compliance buyouts. No team will buyout a player unless it is compliance.

No disrespect to Plekanec but Winnipeg wouldn’t even consider a 1 for 1 trade for either of those 2. Frolic has fit in quite nicely on the first line with Ladd and Little, and Petan is second in WHL scoring (having played 10 games less than the leader).

^ I did not say they can not buy another player out but they would not want to buyout another. every bit of the salary space is valuable to teams in the playoff picture. so they would not want to buyout a player and still have some salary taking away cap space
