Forget trading for anyone. Keep the usual 1st line of JVR/Bozie/Phil. Have a 2nd line of Lupul/Naz/Clarkson. A 3rd line of perhaps Komarov/Kontiola/Frattin. Then you've got Bodie/Santorelli/Orr/Holland and Ashton as your other forwards.

Then hopefully finish in the bottom two, which guarantees McDavid or Jack Eichel. Others like Calgary, Ottawa, and Carolina will compete for last, but its a possibility and perhaps the Leafs can draft a franchise player.

So no more talk about trading for help. We can get help next June.
