Ok I know this is sounds a little weird but I seriously believe the Penguins might consider moving Evgeni Malkin. Why? The team is struggling, so if the were to trade him if they end up in a bad spot, they could get a massive return from almost every team in the league. Because every team would call. Easily could get a center (ex. Spezza, Kesler, Plekanec, or Backes) or a highly touted potential first line player with experience (ex. A MacKinnon, Galchenyuk, Nugent-Hopkins, Huberdeau, Couture)

One of those two along to go with a prospect goalie, and a quality draft pick.

This could put the Penguins in a good situation in the long run.

This is only if the struggle by the way.

DAL: Evgeni Malkin
PIT: Jason Spezza, Jack Campbell,1st Round Pick, 5th Round Pick

Or
ANA: Evgeni Malkin, Pascal Dupuis, 4th Round Pick

I'm not going to outline all the reasons those trades wouldn't work or be approved by one team or the other (or both), but I will say that the leafs deal isn't enough and the Pens -- if by some miracle -- did trade Malkin, I highly doubt they'd trade him within the conference anyway.

If they do it would be only for either McDavid or Eichel + A-Prospect or Future Star Goalie

Nice try, Leaf fan.
First, suggesting that with 2 other teams and then this joke of a deal involving the Leafs.
In the other trades, the Pens get at least SOME good pieces back.
But Kadri, Gardiner and Reimer is just such a bad joke for a player like Malkim

I honestly think you are putting Malkin's value way too much i'd do the trade to the leafs with only kadri and a 1st rounder but that's my opinion

Man o man. Never said they have no value. Sure they have.
But compared to Malkin they're value is very small.
Doesnt have to do anything with TOR, same for my Bolts, Killorn or Connolly and Gudas or Sustr sure all have value, but a very small one compared to Geno
