Who should add a pick? Or trade them straight up player for player?

Value wise they are similar but this doesn't really help either team except maybe a change of scenery

I think Skinner is a bona fide franchise top line player whereas Kane hasn't found a consistant rhythm or the ability to quit complaining and work hard like every NHL player is supposed to. Ol Chevy would cream his pants if he acquired Skinner and got rid of the team problem child in one fell swoop.

Kane's upside is higher than skinner who is not a responsible defensive hockey player

Neither of them are defensively responsible. It's not in their job description.

Kane is one of the, if not the fastest back checker on the Jets and he plays the PK, to say he is not a defensive player would lead me to believe you have never watched him play. as for the trade, Value is there, but I'm concerned with Skinner's concussion history and would rather stick with the potetial of Kane
