I think this solves problems for both teams, and has equal value going both ways.

Interesting but I think the caps need to add seeing how Green isn't the most dependable blueliner in his own zone.

Yeah, a consistently injured defensemen who only plays offense for one of the Devils best players really solves each teams problems

Its not like Zajac is never injured and he really hasn't done too much the last few years.

Aside from the off ice injury in 2011, Zajac has just about played every game. He's a good two way forward and led the Devils in face off percentage last season. In a full season, he'll get you 40+ point, especially this year now that NJ has added more offense. He's much more valuable than Green

Sure he is, you're right.
But he's not a real #1 C
40+ pts isn't too impressive, but his two way play is good, right

Zajac is there number 1 centre. The don't need defencemen anyway
