The first thing that needs to happen in Leaf Land is Nonnis needs to be fired. Not sure at this time who to bring in as new GM but this so called "core" needs to be blown up! Kessel Phaenuf you name the player can leave. let's give it a shot

Its not working in TO just as much as in Denver

Also Toronto needs a defenseman who can lead who is a proven winner. Why not help the Hawks with their cap issue

The last thing a leaf fan wants to do it take pointers from a habs fan but here it goes. Look at what montreal did after coming 3rd last in the league. THEY BLEW IT UP. They told the fans that finishing third las was unacceptable and they cleared office. Leafs need to do the same. START OFF FRESH. Bring in a new GM, let GM bring in his coach. Next, get a new director of scouting. Find a reliable GM that can bring pieces together so that he feels comfortable with who is around him. After Bergevin came to town him and Molson went through the whole organization re-tueling. Sorry leaf land but it has to happen.

Ad much as I like jvr I would do the first trade as I think that would be the shake up that both teams could use. Culture would change in Toronto and I think dion and Phil would both thrive playing in a less hockey crazy place then TO

If we were to help Chicago with their cap issues we should give them Gardiner not Reilly. Seems you would like to help Chicago with more than cap space
