Leafs trade Nazem Kadri and a 1 st Rd pick (obtained from NSH)to the Red Wings
Red Wings trade prospects Anthony Mantha and Dylan Larkin to the Leafs

I really want Mantha on the Leafs, but I think Leafs maybe can get Mantha without losing Kadri.

Gardiner for Kindl (dump) & Mantha?

And people say leaf fans over rate their prospects.

Easy "HELL NO" from Toronto.

They need to build through the draft not trade a proven young second line center and a top 5 pick for 2 unproven, late 1st round pick prospects.

still wouldn't do it from Toronto though. Kadri should be part of the rebuild.

If Toronto wants Mantha in the package, we are going to get Kadri, Gardiner & either JVR or Rielly.

Detroit will add respectively but still Mantha is precious to Detroit and is probably going to wait on Mantha to give him 2-3 years in AHL in order to make him into a star NHL player.
