ok so in a mock draft lottery simulator the flyers won the 1st overall pick and that got me thinking about what that means for the flyers.

schenn
couturier
Laughton
Lacavlier

as our center depth looking at McDavid schenn and couturier as a solid 1 2 3 puch at center I think it puts giroux out of place which would lead to the possability of him being traded for 3 reasons
1) dosnt fit the the young core that we have coming up
2) with McDavid he could be replaced
3)his return could get the flyers plus that they need

the flyers need a
1st line left winger
and a solid top 4 defenceman who could fill the void while the kids are getting ready

id keep giroux and trade either schenn or coutourier because mcjesus needs time to grow. and I think he'll be ready for #1 duty in 3/4 years. giroux will then be on the worng side of 30. and you could either keep i'm as a 2nd line, like pitts wit malkin and crosby or trade him then. but he'd bring leadership to the the team, and he'll probably still be a ppg guy so i'd do smthing like that because u could still get a great retunrn for him then
maybe top prospect, 1st, 2nd
