to Islanders for: Kyle Okposo (2.8M)
Isl's get established NHL 2nd pairing shut down dman in Seids grit on 3rd pairing with K miller and a 4th line centre/wing. and a good potential draft. cap hits work for both teams.
and B's get a good scorign RW
2nd trade
Bos sends Chris Kelly to OTT for Zack Smith
(Cap 3M for CK 1.85 for ZM) works for both teams
Sens get a great leader, 4th line centre and PK guy.
Bruins get tougnhess is Zack Smith for ther 4th line
3rd trade:
Bos trades: Loui Eriksson, Brian Ferlin, Joe Morrow to Nash for Roman Josi
B's get a good left shot dman to take over top pairing when Chara retires.
Nash gets a great winger in eriksson, good D prospect in morrow and a good wing prospect in ferlin.
4th trade:
Bos: Connolly, Koko, Zach Trotman, 2017 1st rnd pick
STL: Kevin Shattenkirk
STL gets a boat load for shattenkirk
and B's get good rh shot dman for top pairing. (cap hit KS 4.25/Bos total value 2M so STL gets some relief and great prospects)
Last trade:
Bruins trade: Subban, seth griffith, Matt Iwin, 2nd rnd pick
toronto sends JVR to Bos
bos gets great scoring winger, leafs as part of rebuild get great prospect golaie, a pick and good nhl ready winger and solid 3rd pairing dman. and still leaves BOS after all is said and done with approx 2M in cap space with only Okposo to resign the following season.

Obvious you're a Bruins fan, all trades favour Bruins big time.
That Josi deal is easily the worst trade of the month wow. This is why I said Bruins fans are becoming the new leaf fans, because of posts like these.
Easy no from NYI(Even though pending UFA it'll cost way more then that for Okposo)
No from STL / TOR(JVR and Shat could bring back better quality then what you offered)
Idk about the OTT deal.
& Nashville blocks Bostons number.

As a bruins fan, Please god let these teams take these deals. small things about the deals make them a no go though. Like for instance, the bruins just signed matt irwin last month. why would they sign him just to turn around and trade him? That sends a bad message to other free agents who would ever think about coming here.

people have to start to realise on this site that sending a lot of decent prospects doesn't bring back a star player. In these trades boston is getting guys with good contracts, that are young, and are proven producers at the nhl level without giving up the type of prospects it would take to get players of that caliber. Josi, shattenkirk, jvr would all take hefty packages that would need to blow their respected teams away in order to be moved.
if I was a gm trading one of those guys I would want one or two amazing pieces then three or four or more ok ones.

I do want to change up your BOS-NYI trade:
BOS: Seidenberg (850K ret), Miller, Talbot, Connolly, conditional 2016 2nd and a 2016 5th.
NYI: Okposo, & de Haan.
* Condition is that if Okposo signs then the pick becomes a first.
The reason I added Connolly an de Haan is because this gives the Isles a player who can play RW and it helps the Bruins bring in a new defencemen to help kick off this inevitable rebuild they're going to do.
