Col. J. Mitchell B. Gormley N. Holden 2016 2nd becomes first if Avds make conference finals

The reason Calgary does this is they need to shed some cap to resign Gaudreau Monny and Others.
Losing Wiedman won't hurt to bad since he's a top 4 d man and Calgary has many. Losing Stajan will hurt bad, a good 3/4 line centre and his leadership. But Calgary gets a replacement d man and forward.

Colorado does this because they need to compete in the central division and Wiedman will help them as well as Stajan.

It'd be a miracle for the Av's to make the playoffs in the central let alone conference finals and for the trade, no from Avs.

As an Avs fan this isn't the most ridiculous thing I have seen. Mitchell won't be keaving anytime soon, it would be either Skille or Martinsen
