Flames: kris Russell

Pens need d, and this will give the flames a little change up. Kunitz can play 2nd/ 3rd line, and pens get a 3rd, maybe 2nd pairing dman.

Kunitz is struggling and he's 36 Years Old.

Russell Is One Of The Best defensemen in the league, and he's only 28.

Kunitz' value is maybe a 3rd if your lucky; he's old and has a bad contract. 3rd + 5th doesn't get you Russell; it'd at least be a first (which PIT doesn't have) or a decent younger player back.

And 2 years ago Andy MacDonald was leading the league in blocked shots by a decent margin when traded to Philly. Don't get me wrong blocked shots are good. Helps the team. But to block so many shots it means your letting the other team control the puck and take a lot of shot attempts.
