Anaheim wants to add defense to set up scoring.

Ducks get: Keith Yandle
Rangers get: Julius Nattinen, Nick Ritchie, 2016 1st round pick.

Ritchie and a 1st is a big over payment for a UFA, might even be too much even if he had a year or two left on a deal.

Kinda agree with yep. Should Anaheim seek out a scoring dman, I would imagine they may try and make a swap involving Fowler rather than trade picks/ prospects. D line could get pretty cluttered. Should they trade picks/ prospects, I think it would be for a scoring forward.

I get were your coming from, when the Rangers traded for Yandle they gave up a 1st, a great prospect and a roster player but the Rangers were stupid and unless they win the cup this year even then that trade will haunt them. Easy no from Anaheim tho.

The Ducks are one of the worst teams in the league. this pick would have a decent chance at first overall. and anyway, the ducks already have ten defensemen.
