Not bad.. personally would like to see Habs re sign Weiss .. he's a character guy.. maybe he's not the most skilled but he does come to play every night..
Not sure if we'd get much for the other guys. But as a Habs fan I'd like to see the return.. and 100% agree, Price should not come back this season..

Price is not going to sit the rest of the season, that would tick him off so much. He's close to returning anyways.

Those are reasonable trades. But why on earth would you bench the best goalie in the league? The NHL would probably throw a fit because they hate the tanking mentality, if they benched him I could imagine there being a fine from the league.

Did you see Price skate the other day? It was on Sportsnet , TSN. The way he looked he shouldn't even be on the ice.. then there is a report that he was seen with a very visible limp after the Flyers game the other night...
If he does come back ,it's going to be a while yet.. true it's going to piss him off to keep sitting .. but he's not going to come back till he's 100%.. but after a couple months ,and still loping and grimacing in pain while skating.. something isn't right ..

Not a Habs fan but a big Carey Price fan. Have to agree that Montreal will have to make a decision on shutting hom down for the season. He is a long ways away and it is not worth risking further aggrevation to this injury.

Montreal needs to consider any and all trades of players not in plans for the rebuild that must take place.

He isn't a long ways away? I had surgery on my foot (true story I'm in a cast) and I limped once I got out of my cast from my first surgery and the limping was gone within a week. He won't come back till he's 100% and that's true, I see that being in a few weeks, not the rest of the season. Heck if I was Price and they benched me when I was good to go I'd request a trade.

My point is from my surgery perspective I was in a cast, operated on and had to recover and it didn't take long. The media is blowing it out of proportion if you ask me because the spotlight is on Montreal right now. I saw him skate I admit it didn't look great, but the first video compared to the one a day later showed a lot of progress. Give him two-three weeks I believe. I don't think it's as serious as the media is making it out to be.

I sure hope your right that it's not as serous as the media is portraying it. We have to remember , he's a goalie.. he's up..down..butterfly....kicking out the leg .. Some things ya jus can't rush... and if it's a case where he could do more harm. Why not sit the season out? I know what ya mean about having a limp or an ailment and being able to be Ok a week or 2 after... I to have had many sports related injuries, only difference was.. I wasn't a professional, I didn't need to come back.. anyway.. I hope your right about the seriousness . Jus from my experience , especially when my ACL went.. don't rush it.

That's just it price hasn't had surgery yet. It looks like it might be nesacery. He won't be back this season.

@JF
They are saying that Carey may need surgery to repair his MCL, leaving him out at least 6 weeks. At that point there is no longer reason to risk re-aggravation. Don't be surprised it he doesn't play again this season.
