I have this weird Feeling MTL and Calgary are going to make a trade together for Monahan i feel like Monahan won't want to sign in Calgary and is going to go in arbitration.

I think MTL could send the 9th pick with Fucale Add juuslen.

For in return Monahan. Mtl has 11M cap space imo we will have after draft probably got rid of Emelin DD and Eller which free's up another 12M almost but i feel like Mtl will have to retain salary from those players.

So that being said sign Monahan to a 8 year 7.5M contract

( Comparaison will be Mackinnon's next contract)

Bergevin could do something extremely tricky that would be worth it imo do an offer sheet to Seth Jones of 5.5 for 6 years.

Trade Beaulieu for either Yak or nishuckin ( bud's Trade made a lot of sense in my head)

Sing Perron on FA for 2 years at 2.75M

resing Brown for 2 years at 1.475M

Resign Barberio for 3 years at 1.250M (because Beaulieu is gone )

And i believe MTL could be in a good position to do a good push

I can't see it. sorry. would be nice . Columbus would easily match. as for Monahan., I can't see the Flames trading him. and if they did, it would have to be for a really good roster player imo.
Who would we get for Eller and Emelin, DD.? Not saying I don't like your ideas., I jus don't see anyof them happening .

I feel like DD could go for 4th round pick Eller for a guy like Bickell or agsin a late pick and Emelin idk get i feel like i wouldn't wanna see him going but i feel like he also doesn't follow anymore.

That is absolutely terrible on the Monahan trade. Your weird feeling is just that. weird. CGY has no reason to move Mony and he has no reason to want to move. I'm not sure if he even has arb rights but if he does, who cares. If he wants to go, CGY will just sign him to whatever the arbitrator says.

IF. a very, very BIG if, CGY considered moving him, you would need to add a lot more. He's already a proven #1 at 22 years of age. Teams don't let players still under team control with the kinf of production Monahan has shown go for such a measly return. 29 teams would be in on this, with 28 better offers than #9, Fucale and Juulsen.

Edmonton and MTL make a blockbuster as follows:
to MTL: Hall, Klefbom, 4th, Yakupov
to EDM: PK, 9th, desharnais or Eller.

MTL gets much needed offense, Dubois, and Yak is re-united with Galchenyuk.
EDM gets all-star defenseman they so badly need, plus an available defenseman in 9th draft pick.
