Reason why i traded down is to shed some cap by getting rid of Emelin's contract and also because without Plekanec we have no second line center, no point in drafting Dubois third overall. In this trade Habs get rid of roughly 11M but add around 13M with Okposo, Yak and Johnson. can't talr Clarkson's contract, no room for him on Defense with our garanteed NHL contracts and we wouldn't have the cap space.
