(Don't really know if that's enough for fleury considering they wanted a little bit more for him at the draft but it's really based on if they are set on Murray being number 1)

Sanheim alone for MAF is an overpayment. Also don't see these teams making a trade, big time rivals.

What I'm saying is, PIT and PHI will likely never make a splash of a trade. Very minor trades are the only things that I see that would be brewed between them.


As for the trade, it seems like a lot. That 1st is probably a mid-round pick, considering the Flyers a wild-card, and just look at the metro, Sanheim is still decent, and Neuvirth is servicable. MAF definitely hit a decline, and at the wrong time in his career.

The Pens and Flyers have made a big splash trade before. Remember the Tocchet for Recchi trade in 92' the pens will never get them for flower though. Maybe a 2nd and mid prospect.
