I heard that St. Louis has interest in Fleury. So I thought this trade would work

St. louis: shattenkirk and Hutton
Pittsburgh: Maatta and fleury

This will not work for several reasons.

1) we do not need MAF, he has 2 more years left on his contract at 6 mil. to much money for a goalie on the end of his career. we also have two young studs copley and husso.

2) we do not need any more dmen in return.

As for this year blues are not a contender so you reload with future and youth and try again as far as Allen suckling yeah that happens sometimes but shatty is our best chance to get some future takent you font waste it on maybees. The blues are contenders. They are fourth in their division and the first wild card. Plus fleury would fit into the blues type of style he's having a bad year because he doesn't fit in mike Sullivan's gameplan. The blues play a gritty and defensive type of style while the pens play a speed and finesse game.

fluery does fit he likes a defensive team the blues play the trap fleury played better under bylsma and the trap Hitchcock plays the trap fleury is a rental player his cap hit is as much as shattenkirk I believe but I still think this could work out
