Ya but Evans isn't a huge + he's probably worth. 4th tbh. So a top6 winger with 60+ point potential for peaces who might never make the nhl, that sounds good to me.

I think now Trouba is gone, we will see Ehlers is worth so very much until he gets traded for peanuts too. Trouba did not bring such big return. Why now you think Ehlers will?

I expect that from the rest of the guys here, but I always thought you were one of the reasonable ones that wasn't extremely biased. I guess I was wrong.

Oh no, I have some biases. Just not as bad as most on this site including yourself, as the replies to this trade show. I prefer to look at a trade from a team needs standpoint and from past trade values.

The responses to proposals like this really let you know which guys even try to be unbiased.

So true memarcusjoe. Every poster has a bias and a favorite team so they all will want the best trades for their team. Now more than ever there are so many factors involved in trades. In this cap era NHL posters have to take in consideration factors other than just the players involved. I just hope the Jets don't trade Ehlers as they will be hard pressed to win any trade he's involved in.

Islandjet, it's not really about winning a trade if we move Ehlers, it's more about filling a team need.

Everyone here thinks that the Jets are going to trade Ehlers just for the sake of making a trade. Or that the Jets are forced to trade Ehlers, which are both untrue.

I can't see any reason the Jets can't get fair value for Ehlers in a trade and I can't understand why you think we would have to take a loss.
