Teams I wish the Leafs face in playoffs:

New York Islanders
Montreal Canadiens
Winnipeg Jets
Ottawa Senators

Teams that I don't want the leafs to face in playoffs:

Pittsburgh Penguins
Boston Bruins
Washington Capitals

but I hope the leafs have a good playoff run this year.

So in admitting defeat in advance to any of the 3 teams you listed, you would rather win in the first round to get beaten in the second thus making our draft pick much worse for no real good reason? thought so. and you call yourself a leaf fan.

its cinderella run to conference/cup finals (highly unlikely) or out in the first round. nothing in between

Ovies hero I hope you're being sarcastic, its going to be the leafs first time in the playoffs in how many years and you would rather then get beaten in the first round and get a draft pick that's maybe four higher? I hate the leafs but if I were you I would love for them to get out of the first round just so they can get experience. Its not their year but they can still learn how to play in the playoffs and if they get to the second round then its that much more experience. You wonder why Leaf fans get a bad rep and its because of stuff like this.

PCS. thanks for you honest reply. I really do appreciate it. but experience gained aisde, i'm looking at a still rebuilding team. regardless of how they do in this years shortened season I want them to be better in the future, I could care less about the now. I've been really happy with the way the leafs have played for the most part, but I do not believe fore one second they can compete for a cup this season. so when you say you hope i'm being sarcastic, i'm not. deep deep run, or out in the first round, nothing in between really helps this team in the long run.

a deep deep ruin doesn't help much, but i'm still a fan and want my team to do well.

im more intelligent than 99% of leaf fans on this site. I know what i'm talking about. every hater would/should agree.
