Devils and canes are in the east but I'm sure that was a formatting thing after if was submitted. As a lightning fan I like it but I don't think they'll get first in the east I think they're a little overhyped. Likely some regression from bishop maybe some from Johnson and palat. Drouin won't be an 80 point player year one. I see them in the 3-4 range again with their improved d

Why does everyone think TB are going to be good?

they had a season last year like the sens had 2 years ago when spezza was hurt and Anderson was the best goalie in the nhl

Bishop had a 1 hit wonder season.

I look at TBay and see no depth, they have 1 good goal scorer, 1 good defencemen. their wingers are garbage and their 3rd and 4th lines are ahl'ers

I see them finishing 9th.

@jbs32: you 100% nailed what I feel and think, NICE!

@stickboy: saying this is just pretty dumb.
Tampa's got good depth scoring in Filppula, Callahan, Johnson, Palat, Kucherov, Killorn, Boyle and some more.
Bish will likely not be THAT good again, but he's a solid goalie with improved D in front of him.
Hedman continues to get even better and Stralman and Garrison were good additions to TBs top4.
Hedman, Garrison, Carle, Stralman, Gudas, Brewer, Sustr and Barberio is a pretty solid top8 I think.
I'd be interested of which jelly-team you're a fan of.

We have plenty of depth what are you talking about? Stamkos Filppula, Johnson, Boyle, down the middle. Callahan, palat, drouin, killorn, kucherov on the wings. we added some depth on D with Stralman, and Garrison. And you can't say Bishop was a one hit wonder if next season hasn't even started yet. I don't think we're going to finish 1st in the east, but we definitely won't miss the playoffs.

I like but its going to be in the 1 Boston 2 tampa 3 Rangers the pens are no longer a top class team I think that they Will finish 6-7 or 8

Bishop has played very well for ottawa and for Tampa the past 3 seasons. His play has not been just one good season except in ottawa he was only playing a few games as a backup. Bishop will probably have another good season, but it may be slightly less then what he had his year. That would still be goo enough hoping that they have a a healthy stamkos and others to help that they have signed or traded for this offseason.

Penguins didn't do much this offseason. Traded Neal which might not help them I don't know and added Erhoff. No reason why they won't place top 5 again. And I think Tampa has the most talent maybe not a strong playoff team like the bruins but I'm hoping they place 1st. And I think panthers are going to surprise everyone with all the changes they made this offseason. I think we have the top 8 teams nailed except for the islanders and I'm reeeeallly hoping the oilers make her.
