Taylor Hall is definitely a steal for the Edmonton Oilers.

Dont get cocky, the Oilers almost signed him. i'm an Oilers fan too so I breathe a sigh of relief about it, but who knows when we'll be struck by the same problem.

theres two major flaws with the paoint you're trying to make.

firstly, hall was a rfa when he signed the contract, its pretty much useless to compare ufa signings to rfa signings due to their situations.

secondly, hall's deal was signed before the current cba, if clarkson had done the same his ap hit would be significantly lower than 5.25 due to the likely frontloading and extra years put on the deal.

honestly its like me comparing jvr's contract to like benoit pouiliots' and saying they make very close tp the same money but jvr is so much better. an argument like that makes absolutely no sense due to situation in which jvr signed his deal.

dont gt me wrong, the clarkson deal is horible, but comparing him in the way you did is not the way tto prove it

I don't like either fanbase getting their heads full but when a leafs fan talks s**t about the oilers not making the playoffs while completely forgetting what happened when the leafs last made the playoffs, it's difficult not to scoff. We both suck, ok? Just accept it and hope for the best for either team. If you can't do that, you're just a person anyway so you're not worth listening to.

If you've read my posts chirp, I only talk **** in a response to others BS. I've also talked **** about my own team on many occasions. The oil droppings compare Hall to Clarkson. By the way, I will never forget what happened the last time my team made the playoffs. You have no problem throwing in your 2 cents on every opinion on the board, allow others without criticizing.
