kulimin and liles and two 1sts ( I know its a lot to give up but. its not like the leafs will keep them anyway) to Florida for Kulikov

4.) Kulikov is not doing anything. Throwing away 1st rounders is a terrible idea.
5.) The Leafs are getting ripped off huge. Kulemin and Liles is more than enough, as the Leafs are not likely to have either one at this point next season. The two firsts make this a joke, this is more than they paid for Kessel, and he wasn't likely to bolt to the KHL.
6.) NOBODY WANTS LILES. Stop trying to dump your garbage.
7.) A serviceable defenseman who has split the year between the AHL and NHL because of his salary does NOT make him "garbage". If not for the cap, there would have been no question that Liles would have made the Leafs roster, especially after his awesome pre-season. However, due to his salary, it was a foregone conclusion that he would be sent to the minors. He has managed to make his way back the NHL though. I guarantee that if Liles is bought out, someone will pick him up, and his career will continue as per normal.
8.) Leafs won't be able to move liles for anything good. smart gms won't take him on the books.

2.) Also, the Leafs can't trade their 2nd pick this year, it becomes property of Anaheim if Holland plays 25 games.

7.) That is a terrible trade for Karlsson but the leaf haters are too much. Ottawa & Edmonton are in worse shape than the leafs. How many 1st rounders does it take to put a team together? Maybe 1 more by the looks of things. They should be the oilers of the 80's with the picks they've got. Yet they're still garbage.
