Tor: Colton Orr
Cal: Future Considerations
Orr won't make the leafs roster. Flames add some Truculence which they ever so value.
1.) What position does Future Considerations play? Never heard of him.
2.) Truculence is to burke as hockey player is to hockey stick
3.) Ehh, I think with burke and his love for him it could work, but with bollig now in the fold as well, I think the role would be a bit redundent.
4.) Eh we will even throw in Clarkson because you can never have enough turbulence lol

WPG: Evander Kane
PHI: Brayden and Luke Schenn
Why? The jets have been reported to have been coveting one if not both of the Schenn's. Philly has also expressed interest in Kane's services in the past. This way Winnipeg gets back 2 NHL players and can help them move Big Buff in a later trade if they so choose to and Philly gets a top line winger they covet. Thoughts? Who Wins? Who needs to add?
1.) Jets need to add
2.) May get you Buff, but def not Kane
3.) Braden alone is equal to Kane. He might not but up as many points but his +/- is 100 times better
4.) Wouldn't be a bad deal if the Flyers didn't have holes to fill. We may be able to afford losing Brayden, but I'm not sure that with our lack of defense we can lose Luke. Maybe Coburn.
5.) The talent exchange may be equal, but it is not what the Jets want. "Cheveldayoff will want an offensive top-six forward and a young, proven NHL-caliber forward included in a package for Kane. "

Tor: Kadri, Rights to Gardiner, 2016 4th
Chi: Seabrook
Blackhawks unload some salary pick up a skilled center to play behind Toews and a potential top PP D man. Leafs acquire a true D partner to play with Dion. The leafs are stressing a change in culture I say this shakes things up a bit.
1.) No from chicago
2.) An okay trade, I think CHI could get more for Seabrook from elsewhere, tho
3.) Chicago doesn't make this deal. Blackhawks needs are not met by what leafs would be offering in this deal. Toronto has immediate needs to be filled and Chicago does not!
Suggestion:
Tor: Reily and 2014 1st.
Chi: Seabrook
4.) I think the pick needs to be higher chicago wouldn't just want to break up keith and him unless they were blown away by a offer
Leafs Fan
5.) Pipe dream! if you want Seabrook you need to trade the best players on the Marlies roster istead of a 4 pick
6.) Not bad bud. Personally, as a Leafs fan, I'd rather keep Kadri. Would you take phaneuf? Lol (that was a joke). Seriously though, would you accept Holland and a Third?
7.) Rights to Franson and a 3rd in 2015 I believe we have to keep Gardiner he will no doubt be a stud and its perfect because seabrook replaces franson as a right handed defenseman
8.) If seabrook was on the market oilers would out bid
9.) Minimum I believe that Chicago accepts if a young, top 3 D-man and a number 3-10 1st in 2015
10.) That Reilly trade I would never do!

Tor: Rights to Reimer
Win: 2015 Cond 4th (becomes 3rd if Reimer starts more than 30 games)
Since the Leafs are keeping Carlyle as bench boss Reimer won't sign in T. O. Why the Jets? Reimer is a Manitoba native so he woulld likely sign in Winnipeg. Also Pavelec hasn't been playing as well as many would like so Reimer and Pavelec can compete for the starting job. Thoughts?
1.) Very believable. Reimer had higher value last year. His play this year has shown his rights will not get more than a 4th. Regardless if he plays well enough for starting job. 3rd should be the best you can get. Jets would be desperate enough to give it.
2.) Pavelec
For
Reimer
Or
Montoya
For
Reimer
3.) The Jets would have to consider how much it would cost to resign Reimer. Montoya’s stats were way better than Reimer’s and he cost $1 million less. Better off just giving Monty a raise. And please, if Halak cost the Islanders a 4th, Reimer is worth no more than a 5th (no conditions attached).

Tor: Rights to Gardiner, rights to Reimer
Pitt: Rights to Sutter
Pens gain an insurance policy for fleury and a good young offensive d man. Leafs gain a young 3rd line center and can save money by letting bolland walk. I think its fair value maybe leafs throw in a 3rd in 2016 to sweeten the pot.
1.) It's not a bad trade in terms of value. I think Pitt would prefer to resign Sutter, but 3rd line C aren't hard to find (ahem Dave Bolland).
2.) Not close to enough coming from toronto
3.) ^ lol he's a 3rd line C. Gardiner had more points than Sutter this season.
4.) Why do the pens need reimer? Fleury and zackoff are both better than him. The trade could work but don't the pens have plenty of d men and young d men? Not sure where gardiner slots in.
5.) Horrible trade for the leafs
6.) ^ agreed - He's a 3rd line C who is looking for a raise. Leafs can likely get a comparable player in FA and not give up assets.
as for Fleury and Zackoff being "better" than Reimer - with goalies like these the swings are always big - It's just as likely in that in a season, if Reimer starts, your opinion likely changes.
7.) Zackoff makes very little and is great as a backup for fleury. Fleury is the starter and I really doubt reimer can knock fleury out of the starter role. Pens are adding more cap spent on the goalie side when they don't need too. This cap money can be used to resign players that they need more than reimer
8.) I think next year Sutter will be the 2nd line center and Malkin will be playing on a wing with Crosby. Would not be surprised in the least if we see Grabo and Kully come in as well.
9.) ^ If he moves to the 2nd line, he's being miscast.

Okay Guys, All I see on here are ludicrous trades involving Phaneuf. Look here's how it is from all that I have read and press conference's I've been watching the Leafs ARE NOT shopping Dion. Not saying he is untouchable but Shanny seems to be taking Dion under his wing and going to try and help him out best he can. Unless a team really steps up at the draft and makes an offer Shanahan and Nonis can't refuse Dion is a leaf next year. So if the draft comes and goes and Phaneuf is still a leaf I almost guarantee he is a leaf. That being said this could be a smokescreen by Leafs management but from what I read Shanny has been a straight shooter so why start now.
No way that gets both Huberdeau and Gudbranson maybe Gudbranson and the pick but Huberdeau never.
I doubt Richards is bought out he will be traded for low value probably in the neighborhood of 2 2nd round picks but its a dump on LA's part.
This isn't terrible. I could live with this.
Riemer is a RFA can't let him just walk his rights need to be traded.
I think the Sabres would rather hold on to their youth.
