To NYI: Mantha, Kindl 2nd 2016, 3rd 2017
To Detroit: Okposo
This is any idea, I have NO clue what New York's needs are, if anyone knows please let me know. But I feel like this is kind of close to what could happen. Detroit wouldn't mind a right handed scorer. Only have 2 righted handed shooters on the team. New York gets a B prospect, a C + defencemen and 2 picks that could turn into good players.
This is a thought. If anyone thinks something could change let me know. Obviously we all know this may or may not even happen lol!

To be honest it's pretty fair IMO it really depends on how NYI values Mantha.

Value might not be bad but he's a UFA I think and as far as I know Wings won't have the cap space to resign him. I think a no from them.

pretty good, if the wings feel like the addition of okposo can push them over the hump and allow them to make some noise in the playoffs. but then there's the NYI angle, where they may believe the same thing and don't want to trade him for prospects een if it means losing him for nothing at the end of the year.

Take away Svechnikov, 2 1st rounders, Sheahan, Nyquist, Marachenko and Mantha. Detroit has always been fantastic on drafting in later rounds so I'm not worried about the 2 picks and we tons of prospects.

Charles - Larkin isn't going anywhere. He's practically untouchable, he's the next Toews. He's fast, versitaile, has a great shot, can play power play and penalty kill, great hockey sense.
