Too much for ROR and boychuk, especially for boychuk.
I would do the trade for ROR. You might need a 2nd.
Boychuk is 30. Also, bruins are in a cap problem. Gernat + 2nd or gernat and lander.

The oilers are NOT trading Yakupov, as MacT said: "Yakupov is going to be our 3rd liner for the season".
And who would trade a young guy that can still become a great player?

Really? You need to trade good players to get good players. And ROR is a young player who is good NOW and that would fill a big hole the Oilers have.

So yes I would trade Yakupov for ROR in a heart beat.

No thanks from COL.

O'Reilly may not be the scorer Yakupov will be, but he does EVERYTHING else.

He plays on the PP, PK, plays ALL 3 forward positions, he's a leader, doesn't take many penalties (yet he led the league in takeaways) and was the Avs leader in goals last year. He's rock solid defensively, something that can't be said about Yakupov.

Oilers can keep him. Avs will keep O'Reilly, and IF forced to trade him, they'll get a better deal than the one proposed above.

You guys really think boychuk is worth lander and gernat and 1st rd pk. I like boychuk but come on. He is 30 and be isn't a top pair d-man.
