Mightyducks, May not be the value but in a way it does fill the needs of each team. Montreal gets a big scoring winger(past prime). San Jose gets a player that makes Thornton expendable. I can't see it happening but Montreal should be looking to make a similar trade just not for a 35-year old winger past his prime.
