Ovechkin scores a lot, but he was a -36 this year, worst in the NHL. Washington is better off shipping him off for someone that helps keeps the puck out of their net.

This is really really bad. As a Sens fan if love this trade but come on. Ovechkin arguably the best scorer in the league and most exciting player. For a Defensman the absolute last thing the caps need. They already have 7 NHL Defensman arguably 8 with Jack Hillen. Let alone the value going back to Washington is no where near close.

Wow. Washonton literally laughs and hangs up.

I know he was and is a defensive liability but that doesn't mean you trade the goal scoring leader from last season for no where near his value.
