Haha five talented players is hilarious the youngest one in this trade (McCarron) is playing on a 4th line in the juniors, don't want to get into every player but this trade sucks. I hope you don't represent all habs fans.

17 people agree with leaffan and only 2 disagree. Even with potential factored in Montreal adds here. And he's right. Quantity does not equal quality and that's not being biased or blasphemous. It's the truth. Disagree all you like. Being a Hab fan doesn't mean your players are worth gold as most of you seem to believe.

Hockeygodsgift, never said they where worth gold I'm just saying that he undervalued every player he listed! He is a habs hater and it's not like you have a star studded reputation on this site either. I am known throughout this site to be one of the more unbiased fans and look at things very closely. Leaffan has been known to continuasly value montreals players poorly.

He undervalued no one in this case. Its going to be quite a while before any of those players surpass those roles if they ever do. And I never said I was perfect, but you thinking you show less bias doesn't make you any more reputable either, not to knock you off that pedestal you seem to be perched on.

Soobydoo, if you think this is a fair trade then you know nothing about hockey , how about trading Galchenyuk and Gallagher for Jensen , Corrado , Hansen , Markstrom and Lain.

Sorry I fail to recall where I said this trade was even close to fair. In terms of immediate impact leaffan is 100% correct! But for some of the players listed it is only a matter of time before they blossom. Steamer, with that last comment you should consider asking yourself the question "do I infact know anything about hockey?"
