You know how Toronto is going to try anything for mcdavid cause its the leaf! What is going to happens is that there going to give all of there best player for one superstar or draft strome or barzal

Never thought I would say this, but if leafs finish around #5 overall. That is an overpayment. Mcdavid is a generational talent but that is a lot of pieces to be giving up.

Are you crazy if Nonis or Shanny agree to this they better be fired yes Mcdavid MAY be amazing but Your technically giving up 5 first round picks

Reilly, Nylander, Jvr were all draftedt top 10 in there respective drafts then you add two first round picks likely both in the top 5 downright stupid trade by the leafs

Tdot1334 I completely agree with u but hey there was a GM a couple years back who was willing to give up 4 first rounders. Paul holmgrem signed Shea Weber to an offer sheet which if the press chose not to match would've given them 4 first round picks.

IDK why so many comments attack the person instead of the comments. @Canucks33 excellent point, does anyone here think Murray would trade 2015 1st over all for Shea Weber? Many years ago, what did PHI give up to obtain Lindros? More than the proposed trade. So settle down Leaf fans, if all of those players were so good would the Leafs be in the McDavid lottery?
