To Col: Dennis Seidenberg (25% retained)

Col does this to add a capable shut down dman to their 2nd pairing and helps boost their PK for a reasonable cap hit. Boston gets some salary wiggle room and some later picks.

To Van: Loui Eriksson, ryan spooner, 2016 3rd rnd pick (AVS)
To Bos: 2016 1st rnd pick, Alex Edler

Van does this to get loui Eriksson playing with fellow Swedes the sedins which could help boost offensive production for the top line and give them a player well known for his 2 way game, they add offensive playmaker ryan spooner to play LW or C on their 2nd/3rd line and they get a draft pick. Bos gets a 1st round pick and a 2nd pairing dman back in return.

To Bos: Kevin Shattenkirk

STl gets a first rnd pick, offensive blue liner who can be resigned for manageable money an offensive centre prospect who can slide into 3rd line duties for an affordable price and a 3rd pairing rh dman who can build his way to 2nd pairing potential but will be sloted nicely behind pietrangelo and paparyko (spelling) . Bruins get a RH dman they can try and build around.

Blues have 4 defensives prospects that will be better than what your offering. The blues have plenty of 2/3 centermen.

Blues say no. The 1st is a good start but boston doesn't have a young 1c that the blues are looking for.

A big no from Van. There is no way they're taking Erikkson and Spooner isn't anything they don't already have. No chance on this deal.
