Just hypothetically, would this tempt you as an oilers fan and if not, what kind of tweak would have you on the fence:

Edm: McDavid (yup, it's him)

Mtl: Subban (mtl retains 40% of his salary) + pacioretty + 15 years of 1st round picks

That's to much , even for him. 15 years is a long time, and as good as McDavid is, he can't do not all..almost..but not quite. That's way more than even Gretzky was traded for. And , yes McDavid is good, but not quite 99.. yet? ? And.,hopefully the Oilers never trade that kid.. which I doubt they will.
