Ari 7th overall and 20th

Edm 4th and 3rd

Ari domi and 2017 1st conditional 3rd

Leafs marner

Arizona takes tkachuk at 4 and with the Toronto trade they put the Knights line together

Tor gets a player that has a real good future and in my opinion should be a leaf and Ari pick next year probley be lottery as well conditions are if 2017 is not a top 10 pick leafs get the other pick

It's a gamble but if Ari and Tor both stink next year leafs could have 2 top 5 picks.

Domi > Marner.

Lol people disagree that a kid who weighs 150 pounds is a better player than an actual NHL player, who both played on the same junior team, and then the nhl player made wj's over the other. Hmmm, yeah Marner is better? I don't think so.

McJesus Christ, I think you're getting upset over people comparing expected value to present value. Marner is expected to be better then Domi (and by better I mean significantly) . However, today Domi is the better NHL player.

On a side note, if you want to discredit players using weight as a reason isn't helping your case. You know, with there being a plethora of statistical evidence available.

Your are high on drugs if you think Domi>Marner holy Christ Oiler fans are the most deluted I swear man.

Well 1st off Marner weights in at 164 pounds so your wrong there. And yes Domi is currently a better player at this point in there careers but you do realize that Domi is also 2 years older right? For a comparison sake here is how Domi's stats line up to Marner's in their draft year and the year after their draft year.

Domi GP) 125 G) 73 A) 107 P) 180
Marner GP) 120 G) 83 A) 159 P) 242

Not to mention Marner made the WJR'S right after his draft year and Domi didn't (although he probably should have) . So although Domi is a great young hockey player I think there should be little doubt of who the better prospect is with the higher upside.

Alright McJesus I happen to strongly disagree with you I think Marner>Domi because he has better, I. Q, Passing, Skating, Hands also he can play any forward position and plays bigger then his size. Marner had a better junior career even though that dosent mean much but he still has higher potential the Domi. Marner is a magician with the puck and makes his teammates better while Domi needs team mates to excel. Marner is also 5 foot 11 and Domi is 5.10 which I find hilarious that you didn't take the time to research. While Marner is only about 170 pounds you can gain weight easier then skill.

Also just because a player doesn't make a junior team as an underaged doesn't make him worse. In your logic. Lawson Crouse>Mitch Marner. Because being cut from a National Junior team means your worse then everyone on the Team.

Stasher- The thing is that having a good junior career doesn't mean squat if you can't produce in the NHL level, I bring in weight because if marner doesn't beef up, he's going to get man-handled in the nhl, aka he's not making the team next year if he can't physically compete. yes hockey IQ and skills will help, but if you can't out muscle opponents then how are you suppose to benefit your team? And not once did I compare junior careers, all I did was say they played on the same team, that was it.
Charles- Every source that lists weight for players will always add, I know people who personally know Marner and they even said there's no way he weighs that much. So no, i'm not wrong about that, and yeah Domi should have made wj's the one year, and team cananda regretted not taking him, but he ended up as top forward in the tourney he played in.
Vb, doesn't matter how tall you are not once did I say that, so before you try and be a tough guy with "stats" try reading what I said. And marner isn't a whole lot more skilled than domi, so clearly you leaf fans (and others) are trying to just back up marner, when the difference between them isn't a landslide, like you say it is.

HAHAHAHAHA. With what's gone on from Leafs fans these last few days you guys are in NO position to call Oilers fan deluted. Give me a break!
Calling Domi better than Marner isn't a far stretch and pretty accurate at the present moment actually.
I do however believe at the end of their careers Marner will be the better. But right now, not a far stretch at all really.
By Leafs fans on here calling other fans delusional is insane and the most funny thing I've heard in a way long time.

And Vb the logic behind the wj's was to say if marner had such a more dominant junior career then why didn't he make the team and domi did? that was my only point to that, I didn't say marner was worse than everyone on the team because that's false. and i'm also not saying marner is going to bad, clearly he's got the tools, but I don't think he's going to be as good as everyone thinks. that's just my opinion. Junior hockey doesn't prove anything.

Marner weighed in at 160 at the draft combine a year ago (they do legit and accurate measurements of a players height and weight) and has put on weight since then, so your friends clearly aren't very talented or handy at projection a person's size.

Omg Yup you legit always say the right things :) leaf fans are the most delusional on this site by far it's not even close, and 100% agree with u and mcjesus. Domi may have a worse career? But it will be a successful one regardless. And right now I agree domi is better because he is. And ya mcjesus I get the world junior
Thing. If marner is so good in junior then he should
Have made the team.

Johnny Gaudreau is listed at 5'9, 157lbs and plays in the big bad west. Does he get man handled McJesus? How much did RNH weigh when he came in the league? Never mind, he did get man handled.

Okay I'll respect your guys opinion on saying Domi is abit better player currently but he has a lot higher potential.

Charles stop trying to be a big boy, they were literally with him and playing against him 2 weeks ago at mem cup, he said he's 150 so stop hahaha god.

15.) 11 Jun 2016
11 Jun 2016 00:54:59
So did they personally ask him if he weighed 150 pounds then? Sorry but I'll stick with the actually proper recorded data measured from professionals opposed to a person judging his weight by looking at him.

16.) 11 Jun 2016
11 Jun 2016 03:47:14
Ya I hate how small players at 5"11 and 177 lbs that can't cut it why does Chicago keep taking chances with kane he's way to small.

17.) 11 Jun 2016
11 Jun 2016 04:41:45
Yes Charles holy use your brain how many times do I have to say that hahaha Marner said to his face he weighs that idk why it's so hard to believe I'm not making this up for the fun of it lol but don't know why this is such a big deal chill.

Love the Leafs. but damn, why is every player on our last place team worth 2 lottery picks and your best prospect.
I understand being a fan, but Christ.
Also. TO does not win trades.
Please refer to trades 1967 -present as reference.
