I can already see the dislikes coming.

Boston needs defence.

Chiarelli is Bruin-izing the Oilers. Marchand is a good player who i think could fit the Oilers.

Oilers lose 6 million in cap.

Fail for another year, trade their top draft pick for a defenceman.

All this happens if Sekera waives his no-movement clause.

Marchand is worth a lot more then that. There was rumours about a Marchand/ Fowler rumour a while ago but Bruins weren't interested and Fowler is better then Sekera soo. Marchand will take a lot to pry out of Boston. He brings everything you'd want out of a player.

Let's face it, all Leaf and Oilers fans are delusional, and I am one of them. We support teams that have been horrible for the past two decades, continue to make questionable moves but we support them no matter what. In fact, we care so much that we are writing on a site in the middle of the summer just so we can talk hockey with other people. We are delusional to think any of our opinions will change anything. We can argue values of some proposed trades but ultimately we are all on here because we love hockey. Let's keep it civil folks.

I don't agree with DL7 bcuz not all oilers and leafs fans are delusional. The only ones who are are the ones who legitimately post unrealistic things and do it on a consecutive basis, and then get mad when people say they are bad. There are lots of people on this site who are knowledgable and know lots, and there is a lot who are trolling and maybe seriously don't know anything about hockey. This is a site where everyone wants to see their team get better even tho none of these trades will ever happen lol. The point is to agree and disagree on trades that are realistic or not and it shouldn't depend on the team. If it's a good trade then it's good, say something. If it's bad, then call it out, but don't need to start fights leafs17. Could have just left it alone and said nothing as nothing needed to be said and it was pointless.
