EDM:
Reinhart
RNH
Pouliot (15% retained)
4th
MIN:
Zucker
Coyle
Dumba
2nd
-Zucker and Coyle both have chemistry on MIN's 3rd line and could bring that to Edmonton.
-both players coming back are inexpensive which is great for the Oilers
-both players could help Yakupov.
-A young power play quarterback
-Minesota gets a D-men who was compared to Suter in his draft year, could study off Suter himself and bounces back to where he needs to be as a 2-way d-man
-Top 9:
Lucic-Mcdavid-Puljujarvi
Maroon-Drasaitl-Eberle
Zucker-Coyle-Yakupov.

If Reinhart was compared to Suter I think you should keep him all to yourselves.

I like it, pretty good value for both teams. That top 9 looks deadly, each lines are pretty fast and pretty offensive. realistically though any MIN-EDM trade involving Dumba and Nuge still hurts both teams come expansion time.

Both Bob Mackenzie and Craig Button should've kept it to themselves, especially the ones who made the draft programming for broadcasting right when Reinhart got drafted that his comparable is to Suter, he was drafted 4th Overall, like I was saying, that was his original potential, but good joke tho.

@FlyingV

Your potential doesn't change unless a serious injury.

Reinhart's potential is still the same he just didn't live up to it.

The point is Reinahart obviously didn't turn into Suter, which means something is wrong with his development if he ever was compared to him. I'm saying that a Veteran who is one of the best defensive d-men in the game who he was conveniently compared to wouldn't be all that bad.

Reinhart is 22 years old he's not going to be a Suter type player within 3 years. Like come on lol. The guy is so young and he gets so many critics. I agree he's been very underwhelming but he's still young, defenseman take longer to develop.

@FlyingV

oh my god.

DID YOU REALLY EXPECT FOR HIM TO BE A SUTER WHEN HE IS 22 YEARS OLD?

@TysonBarrie2
Chill with that, wth, I said Suter is one of the best defensive d-men in the game, why would I compare Reinhart to him when I never said that AT ALL in any of these posts. Like I said, in his DRAFT YEAR he was compared to Ryan Suter by the likes of Bob Mackenzie, Craig Button etc. If you could recite to me exactly that I said that, then in the wrong, until then, keep your false accusations to yourself and turn your cap key off.

When I said Reinhary obviously didn't turn into Suter, you realize the most logical sense would say I meant in terms of their development, which I did. At 22 years old Suter was already a top 4 Defenseman. You can't say the same about Reinhart which means his development hit a stint somewhere or he's just not adjusting very well, Suter could be a reliable Veteran, show him the ropes, and maybe his development show him how to adjust to the NHL game which could be more beneficial.

@Ebsolutely
The trade was Nuge, Reinhart and Pouliot (25% retained)
and a 4th for Coyle, Dumba, Zucker and a second.

Problem with the Oilers is they have no patience switch coaches every two years and hire ex players to run the team. My opinion you can't develop players when a new system keeps getting introduced, having said that I think the Oilers are in great shape now just need some stability and direction to evaluate what they have. Rienhart will be a stud at some point so I say keep him.
