Another JVR trade before the expansion draft.

To ANA: JVR (50% retained)

To TOR: Josh Manson and Max Jones

No matter how the Bieksa situation plays out, the Ducks will lose Manson so dealing him for a protectable asset makes sense.

Either the Ducks re-negotiate Bieksa's NMC or they are going to have to take the hit and buy him out. This means that they can protect the following:

Perry
Getzlaf
Rakell
JVR
Silfverberg
Kesler
Cogliano

Fowler
Lindholm
Vatanen

Actually I addressed the Bieksa situation but saying that the Ducks have to re-negotiate his NMC or if that doesn't work buy him out (meaning they pay his $4 mill over two years but take the full hit on their salary cap next year because he is a +35 contract) . But thank you for insulting my intelligence.

There is no reason why he wouldn't waive NMC. He's not stupid. He knows Vegas won't pick him up. I would bet anyone a 100$ that he will waive his NMC.

Hey VB what's going on with your team. I've never seen such a porous defense. Hopefully for them they'll miss the playoff and get a decent pick to keep on rebuilding because they need at least another right handed top 4 D. If they do make the playoff. Oh boy poor litle leafs.

Yeah hopefully they miss the playoffs imo they should tank next season Svechnikov or Tkachuk would look nice with Mathews. If they Finnish anywhere besides bottom 3 I'll be disappointed.

Yeah those terrible leafs. Points in 8 of last 9, 10 of last 13 while playing Tampa, Chicago, LA, Anaheim, Rangers, sharks and habs in there. For a team that was 30th last year and not projected to be much better this year.
