Would this work? (both value wise&rules wise)

Pittsburgh Trades;
Derrik Pouliot
Daniel Sprong
Rights to Nick Bonino (agreement to sign with LV)
2nd Round Pick

Las Vegas Trades;
4th Round Pick

*with this; LV also agrees to select Scott Wilson in the expansion draft, not Matt Muray.

I feel like with Fleurys play, i don't think hell be traded.
but i also don't think Murray will be.

so maybe Pittsburgh can part ways with some prospects and a player.

LV adds a solid NHL player in Bonino who cpuld possibly be their first line centre. they also add a former 8th overall selection in Pouliot who is a bit of a wild card, but will probably be a decent NHLer. Finally, they get Sprong, who could be a prolific player in the NHL, or he may be nothing at all.
Plus, Scott Wilson, who would be a decent energy guy with almost no money on him.

PLUS a second round pick.

i might be a bit bonkers here, and it may be better for MAF to be traded, but he/ Murray seems like such a great duo. i'd be scared to go into next season with Murray/ Jarry, two young guys, and if Murray was to be injured, what do you do?

idk. would Bonino/ Sprong/ wilson/ pouliot be enough to entice Vegas from taking Murray?

ALSO
this is like the last straw if pittsburgh can't deal MAF/ doesn't want to.

I think that is absolutely retarded for Pitt. TBH.

I don't believe fleury wants to part of a 'great duo' and I don't blame him. If the Penguins give him a reasonable place to go, he will reluctantly leave the pens rather than back up or split time. He holds the cards tho. If he refuses to waive, they may have to expose Murray. As much as I agree it's stupid from pens point, if I'm Las Vegas it would take a kings random for me not to select a 22-23 year old goalie who has a legit chance of being the best goalie in the league for a good chunk of his career. If they pass on Murray for a package like above they may regret it. When you see the spare parts most teams will leave exposed, I wouldn't pass on Murray for that.

I'd rather buy him out then do this.

Yeah no way LV takes that over Murray. But there's definitely a better option for Pittsburgh.
