No from the Jets. Landeskog is good, but we don't need a forward if we are trading Trouba, we would need a D man as young and as good as Trouba in return.

Montreal should really avoid that Tyson Barrie trade.

Habs should do that Tyson Barrie trade. They're D is very immobile and I've never been a big believer in galchenyuk but thought he was still young and good enough to take a chance on, but I watched the habs home opener against the hawks and he was abosolutely awful. Losing puck battles every shift. He went for a change on the back check on a 3-on-2 of toews, saad and Keith lol looked like kostitsen. Seems like he got a paycheck and has completely mailed it in. Looked so disinterested in that game.

Great John you're on some heck of a drug if you honestly think the ottawa trade is bad for Colorado lmao. If anything ottawa says no to this in a heartbeat. Turris and duchene have virtual identical careers from highs to lows, they litterally have a 0.04 point per game difference since Duchene entered the league and turris joined ottawa in around the same number of games. Go look it up if you don't believe the stats I got straight from nhl. com.

Here's the real rumor that was circulating the last couple days and is a turris contract away from happening.

To ottawa = Duchene

To colorado = turris and lajoe.

Lol delusional if you think duschene is worth turris and a first. turris 7 points already. 25+goals a year. duschene has never had 25 goals. That 41 points last year is amazing too :p.

I'm sorry but duschene us not worth a 1st unless its just the first and chlapik. And maybe Wideman. I know ill probably get ripped on but stats are the truth.

Great John I don't just watch the sens bro I follow hockey. There is a difference. If I just followed the sens I wouldn't finish top 10 in 90% of the hockey pools I'm in but I do. It's called not over or under valuing players just because they are or are not on your favourite team. It's also called doing your homework on a players history and not valuing them based on hype alone.

For example their are safe picks and their are risky picks.

Stamkos = risky pick
Voracek = safe pick
Value = same

Yes stamkos is the better player no doubt but. stamkos is a risk as he is extremely injury proned while voracek is an iron man of hockey and very consistent.

Or

Last year example

Marchessault and huberdeau

Huberdeau better player but injury gave Marchessault a shot to play on barkov line and prove himself a safe sleeper pick.

And my personal favourite example is

Mcdavid Crosby

Mcdavid is a better player but Crosby has a better supporting cast that helps push him past mcdavid stats wise

same way duchesne supporting cast over the years push him very slightly over turris stats wise, doesn't by any means make him worth more than turris.
